I'm not trailer trash, yet a fine and looked up to person unlike you. The sun comes up because I let it, it rains because I let it, the wind blows because I let it.

That's BS anti and you know it. There are a lot of blacks in the judicial system. RBG hired one because liberals are all talk. I believe she said in her confirmation hearing she would hire more.

That was actually a scathing article, HIAM, and still found that the facts didn't support your accusation.

They seem to exclusively hire Ivy League graduates as interns, and they are nominated by judges. Maybe if you can show how many black people were nominated as interns, and what percentage of them were rejected?

There are only a handful of internships available:

As of last year:

Black students make up at least 11 percent of total enrollments at all five Ivy League law schools.

Leading the group is Columbia University in New York where there are 39 Black students out of a total enrollment of 124. Thus, Blacks are 31.2 percent of the total enrollments.

At Harvard Law School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Blacks make up more than 20 percent of the student body.

At Yale Law School, the nation's highest-ranked law school according to U.S. News & World Report, there are 15 Black students among the 98-member student body.

There are 11 Black students at Cornell Law School. They make up 11 percent of total enrollments.

You can see that there are relatively a small number of graduates, and only 11% of them are black. The fact that they hire 15% black shows that, if anything, they hire a slightly higher percentage of black interns.

Why so much ado about Biden? Every time Trump's misdemeanors are raised the Trumpoids go off on Biden or Obama sometimes even Clinton. However, they are somehow unable to justify or defend his actions. Trump is evil and his intentions for our nation are evil, he will say whatever he has to say to gain his ends. He will do whatever he has to do to keep people in line and if anyone of his lackeys tell him something he doesn't want to hear they will find themselves fired.

Bringing up the missteps of previous presidents will not erase the reprehensible words and actions of the present occupant of the White House, just suck it up and admit that you made a terrible mistake in voting for a septuagenarian delinquent.

Some in the media mentioned how surprising it was that there was so little diversity over the years in RBG's team of interns.

So few, "people of color" said one.

This was addressed almost 3 years ago, singer.

The truth is that when a minority graduates from Harvard or Yale, they're usually recruited by a major law firm quickly and don't WANT to be an SC intern. One such example is a black man that graduated from Harvard and several Justices begged him to be their intern, but he refused for a better job offer. That candidates was Barack Obama:

The article also points out that 15% of the interns since 2005 were not white. Considering that blacks make up 12.7% of the total population, it seems that black people have an equitable number of representatives.

Why do the radical rightists have to come out with commie/socialist' crap when they are unable to present a cogent response? Because they are frustrated with what they got themselves into. They voted for Trump because he presented himself as a repub and he kicked arse with all the other repub candidates.

Maybe they don't realize that the faux communist governments have nearly all gone and the term is now passé. The USSR no longer exists, Russia, Hungary, Romania Poland and various other smaller European governments are either fascist dictatorships or extreme right wing oligarchies.
But the Trumpoids go on lauding their potential fascist dictator, I feel the USA would be a lot better off if he were to get a fatal dose of Covid 19.

It could have been a bi-partisan event had the repubs shown up instead of pouting over the number of people who were honoring RBG's memory.

There is no difference in a political rally and a funeral. Just remember the Wellstone memorial, George Floyd, and the little bald bridge walker that just passed. All the same, nothing but political events.
